Buttons Division
Gruppo Uniesse buttons division directly produces and deals in semi-finished materials for buttons (BLANKS); in particular, all the buttons made of UREIC RESIN and the most part of buttons made of POLYESTER are obtained from semi-finished materials produced by the factory itself.
Ureic resin buttons
The main dish of Gruppo Uniesse is ureic resin. Renowned for dimensional precision, its resistance and the long-term inalterability of its surface and colour, it is an extremely unique material. It is able to create results so similar to natural materials and that of real horn in particular. Used with the extensive experience of Gruppo Uniesse, all its special qualities result in semi-finished products and products of superior quality.
Polyester buttons
That which nature makes with such beauty, polyester is able to imitate. Very resistant thermosetting synthetic resin it is distinguished for its versatility and is capable of recreating such natural features only found in mother-of-pearl, horn, ivory and tortoise-shell. By adding a small percentage of real horn powder to the material, Gruppo Uniesse is able to give its polyester buttons (of which the majority of semi-finished products are produced internally) a real feel of naturalness, with very variegated and often surprising results.
Mother of pearl buttons
A Natural material of excellence, mother-of-pearl is born from shells found in the exotic seas of the southern hemisphere. Its iridescence and originality, its reflections and light effects along with its fascinating surface imperfections render it unique. Gruppo Uniesse knows how to bring its quality into extremely refined and “important” buttons, creating intense tactile and visual sensations.
Real horn buttons
Yet another natural material, real horn is distinguished by its chromatic smoothness and true elegance and is a constant object of imitation. Derived from Indian and African buffalo or cow, it is obtained only when the animal has been destined for meat. In this way, Uniesse gives new life to a material that would otherwise be wasted, without any damage to biological cycles. Due to the very precise craftsmanship and the value of this raw material, horn buttons made by Gruppo Uniesse are used to create items of a certain prestige.
Wood buttons
Wooden buttons, giving a timeless feeling of warmth and an artisan touch are obtained from the tree bark of varying colours and textures. In classic or unique forms, they retain all the natural allure rendering them extremely charming.
